My Journey into Blogging About Electroforming, Crystals, and Gemstones Jewelry and Brazing.

I never thought that I would be blogging about electroforming, crystals, gemstones jewelry, and brazing.

But here I am, doing just that. Why? Because I want to contribute as much as I can to these crafts the answers to questions in a concise way.

And I wish I had someone that was presenting and answering these important questions on the different blog topics and offering the answers to the how-to topics completely while taking out all the fluff.

Hi, my name is Michael and I’m a jewelry/art maker.

I’ve been working with metal, and glass for quite a few years, and I decided to start blogging about electroforming, crystals, gemstones, brazing, and jewelry.

When I first started getting into electroforming, crystals, and gemstones jewelry, I had a lot of questions.

Where do I start? What are the best techniques to use?

How can I make my jewelry look more professional?

Thankfully, I was able to find a lot of information on the internet.

However, a lot of it was scattered all over the place, and it was difficult to find concise answers to my questions.

That’s why I decided to start blogging about electroforming, crystals, and gemstones jewelry.

I love how versatile these hobbies can be, and how it allows me to create really unique pieces of jewelry and art. In this blog series, I hope to answer some of the questions that people have about electroforming, crystals, gemstones, brazing, and jewelry.

Electroforming

So, you’re thinking about starting an electroforming hobby? Well, you’ve come to the right place! On this website, I’ll talk about some of the basics of electroforming, and how you can get started with this fun and creative craft.

First of all, what is electroforming? Electroforming is a process in which metal is deposited onto a conductive object, usually using an electrical current. This process can be used to create beautiful pieces of jewelry, ornaments, and other decorative items.

One of the great things about electroforming is that it’s a very versatile process. You can use it to create a wide range of objects, from simple jewelry pieces to more complex designs. You can also use a variety of different metals, including copper, brass, and silver.

In order to get started with electroforming, you’ll need some basic supplies and equipment. This includes a power supply, a conductive object (usually made from metal copper), an electrolyte solution, and jewelry or crafting form to hold your workpiece.

When I started to do electroforming my go-to site to learn was Jason Welsh.

Brazing With A Torch

Brazing is a great hobby to take up. It can be a bit challenging to get the hang of at first, but once you do, it’s a lot of fun. In brazing, you use a torch to heat up the metal and then join it with another piece of metal. This is a great way to join two pieces of metal together, and it can be used for a variety of different applications.

There are a few things you need to know before you start brazing. First, you need to know what kind of metals you’re working with. Different metals have different melting points, so you need to make sure that the metals you’re using can actually be brazed together. You also need to know how to use a torch. This may seem daunting at first, but it’s really not that difficult. You just need to practice a bit and get comfortable with it.

Once you have the basics down, you can start brazing! There are a lot of different projects you can do, so be sure to experiment and see what you can come up with. Have fun and happy brazing!
